The shoes couldn't have matched this dress any better. They are black with black and cream flowers.
Here we are outside of the church with sweet Aunt Lisa.
Aunt Lisa enjoying her whiskey sour, with my equally sweet sister-in-law, Diane
Cousin Connie on left, sister in-law Sue in back, my mother in-law in the blue, Aunt Lisa, and me.
The wedding reception was at The Washington Crossing Inn, in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania. It is very historical. It is where the colonists rested before the ferry trip across the Delaware River. George Washington reputedly dined here before leading his troops on the famous Christmas night crossing of 1776.
love the dress! and what a good looking crew! looks like fun was had by all....

....am i nice enough to be in this group?! :)
Yes it was fun. I really don't see the "crew" that much, except for Aunt Lisa, and my sister's in-law.
ReplyDeleteAs for you being nice enough, are you kidding, of course you are! You are part of my group weather you know it or not! I would love to hang out with you for a day at work, but I would probably FAINT from just the sight of a friggin' shot! If something were ever happen to my husband, I always say I want to marry my dog!
XOXO
Oh I don't know where to start, so many lovely pictures, from your dress (and those shoes!!) to your lovely Aunt Lisa and her cocktail, and the gorgeous bride, Meredith... I clicked on each photo so I could look at the details... You, your husband and Aunt Lisa...what a great photo, Meredith's dress is a dream, also her hair, necklace and veil, just a gorgeous bride!! Oh the details..... Thank you so much for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteHa ha I was just reading your comment to Kim.. I think all of you (and Aunt Lisa) should get up here for Champagne Thursday!!
Ina, thank you. Aunt Lisa was telling me that she bought that suit for another wedding, and she was sitting next to Lana Turner when she wore it!! Than was about 15 years ago. I'm gonna miss her, she is so great! Every time she leaves, I just keep hoping she comes back one more time. She just keeps comming back! She was married to my husband's father's brother. When he died, she moved back to Germany.
ReplyDeleteAs for Meredith, the last time I saw her, she was about 4 years old. Hence the statement, I don't see the crew that much. But when I do, it is a good time.
XOXO
P.S. Remember the song "Goodbye Girl"?? By Bread. I know you do.

Ronda I need to Google that song.. don't remember it... but I remember other Bread songs. One favorite from them is Baby I'm A Want You.
ReplyDeleteRonda,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all you look great and that dress is perfect.
What a lovely wedding, all different generations, obviously having a very good time. Good for you getting so many pics, I always have good intentions and then I get lazy!
How was Thanksgiving? Did you take a big nap after dinner? I always FEEL like doing that... too much clean-up though:)
You looked beautiful! Everyone looked like they had a wonderful time. I like that the wedding was at an historical place.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are enjoying the visit with your aunt. She is amazing!
