His Eye is on the Sparrow

I received this e-mail from a close friend and it tugged at my heartstrings. I hope it doesn't offend anyone, it is bittersweet, beautiful and touching. I wanted to share it with you.

A female bird was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road, and the condition was soon fatal.

Her mate brought her food and attended her with love and compassion.

He came back with more food, and was shocked to find her dead.

He tried to move her.

Aware that his mate was dead, he cried with adorning love....

....and stood beside her with sadness and sorrow. You can see the anguish on his face as he cries out.

I told you it was sad.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
XOXO

  4. We came upon a dead bird along the road the other day on our walk....I am sure it was hit the same way as the bird in this post...also a gorgeous but dead black bunny....so sad!!!! the dead bunny was on a sidewalk near a house and I told the lady standing nearby about the dead bunny. She looked at me like I was a crazy nut or something... why? She never replied. I still don't get it...

On another note, I am not surprised the bear story was featured on your Philadelphia news. one of the former KTUU reporters now works there, his name is Dan Fiorucci and he is still in touch with his KTUU peers here in AK. xoxoxo
