Break Time

I just wanted to show you a few of the wonderful sunsets that have been happening around here this week. The weather has been warm but great. We could use some rain though, but not this weekend.

Each night they are different, and more beautiful.

I just wanted to tell you that I'm taking a computer break this week. I have a lot to do to get ready for house guests. I have my sister and husband from Kansas City coming on Thursday along with my 2 nieces and their boyfriends for 8 days.
As an added bonus, I am hosting a cocktail party for 100 people on Saturday from 6:00-7:30p.m. There is another progressive dinner this weekend. (2 per year.) I will host the cocktail party, then everyone moves on to other homes for dinner. (6-8 per house.) Then someone will host dessert. Everyone brings a bottle of wine or an appetizer to the cocktail party. I supply paper products, beer and drinks. We have a big tent to set up, but I still pray for no rain this day!
So I apologize in advance if I lag on postings this week. I will do my best to make my rounds. I'll be thinking of you all, and wish you could be here this weekend! Pictures to come.
Have a great week!

XOXO

P.S. Many thanks to Pink Martinis and Pearls for letting me join the exclusive club, and the awesome award she gave me!

  1. You may be 'Stella's Mom' my friend but it may be time to change your name with the words 'Party Queen' in there somewhere. There is no keeping you down this summer ~ as it should be. Enjoy your family and your friends. We'll still be here when you return and look forward to more pictures. xoxo

  2. I agree with Pink Martini! You are one busy lady-- a cocktail party for 100!!! Wow! Hoping your weather holds up. It all sounds fun nonetheless and as I can attest from our recent wedding doings and houseguests, the time passes by in the blink of an eye so enjoy every moment. We will look forward to your pictures. PS I have been using that wonderful glass juicer and love love love it. Those old juicers work better than anything else!! xoxoxo Hugs to Stella too from the Pack!!
