Here I am!!

O.K. These are a little out of order, but I wanted to add them. Here I am with my sister Susie who lives in K.C.

Hi everyone! I got back from Kansas City last week and stayed in Maryland until yesterday. I had a wonderful time, and took a break from the computer too! I have to say it was a very nice break. I had a great time visiting my sister and niece's out in the boonies. I love it out there. It was nice change of pace, everyone is so friendly and laid back out West. I miss it.

Above is a picture of my niece Megan on the left. With her is Cory, her boyfriend of 7 years, and her roommate Amy. They all graduated from KU, and had a big redneck party! (not really redneck, it was very nice!)

Another niece, Kellie and my dad (who really needs a haircut!) My sister has 4 girls. My fourth niece is in Brooklyn, New York and couldn't come.

We were out running around the day before the party, and the car was packed! This was the only spot left to put the rolls. Poor Amy.

This is my sister's new baby, Gracie. She is a 1 year old 150 pound baby, and such a beautiful lab!

This is my brother-in-law's sister Kim and her son. She came all the way from Oklahoma for the party. She was fun! There was a D.J. set up on a flatbed tractor with great music and karaoke. Everyone had a great time, and partied until the wee hours.

I hope everyone had a great week and I truly missed you all! Now I have some catching up to do

Kansas City Here I Come!

I'm on my way to Kansas City tomorrow.

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to get there!

I'm going to my sister's house who lives right outside of Kansas City, in the boondocks with lots of acres. She is having a huge graduation party for my niece and her boyfriend and another friend of theirs. So it is a combo party with lots of friends and family. I will get lots of pictures while I'm there. The best part is my 2 kids are going with me.
Today was my last day of work for the summer! Woo Hoo!! Now I will probably spend a lot of my time in Maryland. I hope everyone has a great rest of the week, and a wonderful weekend. I haven't decided if I'm bringing my computer yet, but I want to think no.

Weekend Update

Just a quick update from this weekend. We took a boat ride to my brother-in-law's house Saturday. He was having a party. There were lots of people and lots of dogs. He was celebrating the beautiful kitchen he had just finished.

Serve over ice.

Kansas City Here I come

Next week I'm heading to my hometown of Kansas City for my niece's graduation from KU. I'm really excited to see my sister and the rest of the family. I just wanted to say if I'm slacking in the blog world, I'm just getting ready for my trip. I have so much to do, and go to Maryland this weekend for another party to boot! Weekend Update

This weekend was pretty quiet for the most part. Did a lot of relaxing and cooking. Stella is just hanging out with John.
